They don't let me teach (probably because I'd turn you into a Fox Hound in two hours :o ) but I will offer advice... Kneel or lay down (stabilizes the rifle), stop moving (walking or running spreads fire over larger area) and tap the fire button (holding it down just wastes your ammo)

i have a few tips. use ar 1 for a while. id say i was below avg in using assault rifles. then i started practicing with ar 1 until i was at least able to keep my k/d even. after a while u will get used to the recoil and be able to hs like crazy. i think i improved alot after doing this, especially when i pumped it up to ar 2

Nobody can teach you how to shoot better but there are rules in the game to keep in mind when shooting.

0. Use OTS (Over the shoulder, change your "shoulder" from left/right as necessary if you are approaching a corner and the enemy may possibly be on your right then you want your OTS to be biased to the right so you can around the corner better and catch the enemy moving sooner than if you had the OTS biased on your other side.

1. Stop moving, aim, then fire. When you stop moving

2. Use RUNNER Lv 3 and whatever other single slot skill as long as it isn't a weapon skill. RUNNER Lv 3 will allow you to get into better positions faster and avoid situations that will most likely result in your death.

3. Keep your weapon on full auto but learn to fire 1-2 rounds at a time let your weapon's recoil subside then shoot again. The first shot will always hit dead center of your OTS reticles CIRCLE. Remember you can only get the circle reticle when you are not moving at all.

4. If you shoot while on the move keep in mind that your bullets will land anywhere within the SQUARE reticle (the 4 dots that spread out make up the square). Keep in mind that as with real weapons the recoil from your weapon will cause the barrel to climb upwards. This means you should aim at the enemy's neck area and fire in 2-4 round bursts and "pray" your weapons recoil will randomly result in having a bullet strike the enemy in the head. Those guys you see who shoot and never stop moving at all even for a second are using this method. There are good players who move at full speed, completely stop then aim then fire as I mentioned before.

5. Practice this in SOLO TRAINING against the dolls. Just emerge from the same cover over and over, try to reduce the time you take to kill the doll with each attempt. You have unlimited bullets (go to Drebin shop to reload) and time. The enemy respawns in the exact same spot. This is the best environment for entry level marksmanship training.
