First of all do you know how to get into first? Once you get the concept of getting into first, you'll be all good.

Anyways you hold the clutch down, switch the gears, then slowly let go of the clutch and press the gas pedal. Shifting gears, same thing but you can go a faster, well especially since you'll be in traffic and you'd have to go faster. When you're going up a hill you would have to press the gas pedal a little harder since the force of gravity is pushing you down.

yeah you would have to hold the clutch to start the car. Also a good habit of driving manual is to put the car in neutral when coming to a complete stop. That way you won't stall out if you accidentally release the clutch while in gear. Another good habit is to shake the shifter so that you know it's in neutral.

I love driving manual... But I don't have a manual car so I have to wait til I have the money to get one...

You should buy a beater car to learn how to drive manual transmission it isn't rocket science but different people take different amounts of time to learn.

You can leave the car in neutral when you stop or you can leave it in gear if you want to be ready to move in case of an emergency you wont shift and move in time.

Its fun watching people learn how to drive manual ;]
